Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is a technique used to overcome male factor infertility. During ICSI a single sperm is injected directly into an egg for fertilization. Although the technique has allowed many couples to conceive, there have been some concerns over the future health of ICSI children. Now, a new study shows that at age 5, children born through ICSI are just as healthy as other children.
